Meek Mill Shares A Few Tweets About Donald Trump
On Wednesday, August 14, Meek took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a message about his time in prison and his feed on the platform recently “turn[ing] back to Trump life.” The rapper seemed to imply that the information he’s learned about the former president is largely due to external sources.
“When I was locked up tv programming taught me every detail about ‘stormy Daniels’’ that was when I learned the art of programming,” he wrote. “My X has turned back to trump life again … i never did a history check on trump…”

In a follow-up message, Meek reflected on the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump’s life. Furthermore, the rapper sent a get-well wish to the former president.
“He got shot at basically put his middle finger up after a bang out got hit in the head nobody ran ….hope you get well too we get shot at a lot!” he wrote. “Got indicted still running for president! Who is this guy trump fr I know some wild guys but wtf lol just my thoughts!”

At that point, one user on X pointed out that Meek wasn’t “endorsing Trump.” In response, Meek confirmed the user’s observation and seemingly explained that he is just curious about who Trump is.
“I’m not endorsing anybody I know nothing about politics,” he wrote. “…he was owning building I was living in north Philly in poverty getting shot at seeing death going to jail for environmental shit … all I see on phones and tvs is trump , it’s like tf is this guy…”

The Rapper Details “Questions” He’d Like To Ask Kamala Harris
A few hours later, Meek returned to the platform to share a few sentiments on VP Harris. The rapper explained that he would like to ask the VP “questions about her past” as a District Attorney.
“I wanna ask Kamala Harris questions about her past as a da, even if she had to be tough…. All I hear is rumors of her,” he wrote. “I would ask her 3 questions about black and brown men going to prison and her views and try to help her understand from a survival standpoint point she may have never had to encounter!”
At this time, it remains unclear what “rumors” Meek was referring to in his message. However, HipHopDX reports that “various unsubstantiated rumors” have spread about VP Harris in recent months. Per the outlet, one reportedly includes a widely circulated Facebook post which “alleged that she imprisoned 1,500 Black men for possession of marijuana.”
According to the outlet, however, during Harris’ time as an attorney general for California, less than 2,000 people were incarcerated for marijuana offenses. Furthermore, the outlet cites that the figure includes “inmates of all ethnicities.”
Per The Shade Room, research also shows that VP Harris launched the “Back on Track” program as an attorney general. This program reportedly provided “nonviolent offenders and low-level drug dealers” with education and job opportunities.
