October is here! The month comes with a packed calendar of theatrical and OTT releases. Amidst the highly-anticipated titles is Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s Jigra. The Vasan Bala directorial promises a gripping ride. Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri are set to show off their chemistry in the romantic comedy Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Another film that’s been on fans’ radar is Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat starrer CTRL directed by Vikram Motwane. It’s a busy month at the movies.

CTRL
Ananya Panday has been making interesting movie choices and CTRL is the next step. Directed by Vikram Aditya Motwane, the cyber-thriller follows Ananya’s Nella and Vihaan Samat’s Joe, an influencer couple. However, when Joe cheats on Nella, she uses AI to erase him from her life. Things take a dark turn when AI takes control.

In The Signature, Anupam Kher plays an elderly man whose wife, played by Mahima Chaudhry, is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. The emotional drama follows him as he goes through multiple challenges while trying to keep her alive.

Amar Prem Ki Kahani
Amar Prem Ki Kahani is a queer romantic drama starring Sunny Sigh and Aditya Seal. As the two male leads fall in love, they’re up against societal norms and their traditional families. The film directed by Hardik Gajjar also features Pranutan.

Jigra
In Vasan Bala’s Jigra, Alia Bhatt plays Satya, a young woman who goes to extreme lengths to protect her brother, Vedang Raina’s Ankur. After he is wrongfully arrested, she plans to get him out of jail in the prison break drama. The film marks Alia and Vedang’s first collaboration and is perhaps the most exciting title on this list.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video
